This track is for providers who conduct all aspects of Partner Services, including Syphilis case management and Visual Case Analysis (VCA). This track includes 14 sequenced online modules (plus an optional LOT system module) followed by a 5-day classroom training.

  • Lot System (optional)

The Track D 5-day instructor-led training is an intensive skills-based application of the core partner services material presented in the online module training program. Students will practice mock interviews (role plays) and be given individualized instructor feedback. The course emphasizes the development of skills and techniques for interviewing STD and HIV patients, which include the following:

  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving
  • Motivational techniques
  • Identifying sex partners and social contacts for referral to medical evaluation
  • Investigation and notification tools to include the internet feedback
  • Introduction to syphilis case management
  • Syphilis Visual Case Analysis
  • Introduction to the LOT System
